Turnbuckle Assemblies
A turnbuckle is used for adjusting the tension of cables and tie rods. It typically has two threaded eye bolts, one screwed into each end of the turnbuckle frame. One end has a left-hand thread and the other end has a right-hand thread. The tension is adjusted by rotating the frame, which causes both eye bolts to be screwed in or out equally. This prevents twisting the eye bolts or attached cables.
As a leading turnbuckle distributor, Bayou City Bolt can supply turnbuckles with eyebolts, shackles (jaws), hooks, or stub ends, or any combination.
